  • Hypnobreath is a collaborative offering from Julie Wix and Emma Trovas born from lived experience, shared values, and complementary expertise in nervous system regulation.

    Together, Julie and Emma guide participants through a gentle, immersive journey that blends breath, hypnosis, and somatic education to support deep regulation and reconnection.

    These personalised 60-90min sessions combine therapeutic breathwork journeys and mind-body coaching to gently guide your nervous system out of survival mode and into balance.

    Whether you're navigating stress, fatigue, pain, or transition, you’ll be held with compassion and care, supported to reconnect with your body and restore calm, clarity and connection.

    Before we have our first session, I’ll invite you to complete an online nervous system assessment. It’s a simple way for me to understand what’s currently present for you, and where we might focus our care and attention together.

    Each session begins with a grounded conversation, followed by breathwork journey tailored to your needs, creating space for tension to release and calm to rebuild.

    A six-session series is recommended for lasting integration, offering time to explore, reset, and return to what matters most.

How it started

Julie Wix

Founder of Pause and Exhale

For over 15 years, I worked at the intersection of people strategy, leadership, and organisational culture, supporting leaders under pressure and guiding teams through change. Burnout showed me first-hand that resilience isn’t built by pushing harder, but by pausing, recovering, and regulating the nervous system.

That insight reshaped how I live and lead, and now fuels my work through Pause and Exhale, with two streams:

  • Breathe@work – workplace programs that help teams regulate stress, recover well, and build sustainable performance.

  • Hypnobreath – sessions beyond the workplace, offering individuals and groups deep rest and transformative wellbeing practices.

I believe the future of work—and life—depends on cultures where wellbeing and performance go hand in hand. When people breathe well, they lead well, work well, and live well.
