A Practical Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation Program for Modern Workplaces

“The Breathe@work program empowers people to use the breath as a built-in wellness tool, at work and in life”

What is Breathe@work?

Breathe@work is an 4–10 week breathwork program designed to help teams build the internal capacity, clarity, and steadiness in their nervous systems, to meet the demands of modern work.

This is not about becoming calm — it’s about expanding the nervous system’s ability and capacity to respond to stressors with more choice, presence, and resilience.

Why Breathe@work?

Modern workplaces are fast, complex, and demanding. When people don’t have the internal capacity to meet those demands, stress becomes reactivity, tension becomes fatigue, and performance becomes unsustainable.

Breathe@work equips teams with practical tools to:

  • Expand their nervous system capacity

  • Stay grounded in intensity

  • Think clearly under pressure

  • Recover quickly and effectively

  • Respond with intention instead of react from stress

This is the foundation of sustainable performance.

Through breath, awareness, and consistent practice, participants learn how to work with their nervous system, building the flexibility and adaptability needed to shift state when it matters.

Over time, this leads to:

  • Clearer thinking and more confident decision‑making

  • Greater emotional steadiness and fewer reactive spirals

  • Reduced physical tension, pain, and fatigue

  • Better sleep and deeper rest

  • Stronger connection with themselves and others

  • Less time spent feeling stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed.

What the Program Includes

Weekly Guided Sessions (4–10 Weeks)

Each week, staff take part in a 30–45 minute breathwork session where they lie down, relax, and are guided through a range of science‑backed breath techniques. As they move through the practice, they learn about the nervous system, the stress cycle, and how the breath can interrupt stress in real time. This builds greater awareness of the body’s early signals and rising tension, helping prevent long periods of activation that can lead to fatigue and burnout.

Practical Tools for Daily Use

Participants learn simple techniques they can use at their desk, between meetings, or during moments of pressure — tools that support clarity, presence, and emotional steadiness.

Online Breath Reset Library

To support ongoing integration, each participant receives access to online resources they can return to anytime. This helps the work continue long after each session ends.

A Safe, Supportive Environment

Sessions are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and workplace‑appropriate — no jargon, no intensity, no PowerPoint no overwhelm. Just practical tools delivered with care.

Meet Julie your host

Julie Wix is a breathwork and nervous system coach with an Honours Degree in Psychology, a postgraduate degree in Human Resources, and advanced training in breathwork and nervous system regulation. She brings practical, evidence‑informed tools to modern workplaces, grounded in a 25‑year career in People & Culture. As an employee experience practitioner and former Head of Employee Experience, Julie has spent decades working closely with people at every level of an organisation.

That work gave her a deep understanding of how humans respond to pressure, how chronic tension accumulates, and how easily an “always on” internal state becomes normalised in busy workplaces. She also lived this reality herself through 15 years in leadership roles.

That blend of professional expertise and lived experience now shapes her approach: accessible, science‑backed practices that help people understand and regulate their nervous system, restore capacity, and build sustainable ways of working.
